Your smile, reimagined.
Hand-layered feldspathic porcelain veneers — crafted in Manhattan to replicate the depth, translucency, and light behavior of natural tooth structure.
What are porcelain veneers
Ultra-thin. Endlessly transformative.
Porcelain veneers are wafer-thin ceramic shells — typically 0.3–0.5mm — custom-crafted and bonded to the front surface of your teeth. The result is a complete smile transformation with minimal tooth reduction.
Unlike crowns or orthodontics, veneers work in as few as two appointments. They correct color, shape, size, and spacing simultaneously — all while feeling completely natural.
At Manhattan Dental Design, every veneer is hand-layered by our master ceramist using feldspathic porcelain — designed in collaboration with you to match your facial features, skin tone, and the smile you've always envisioned.
- Correct chips, cracks & uneven edges
- Close gaps and reshape proportions
- Permanently whiten with stain-resistant porcelain
- Long-lasting results — 15 to 20 years
- Minimal tooth removal, maximum impact

Actual patient results — Manhattan Dental Design
The difference is in the craft
Not milled.
Hand-layered.
Most veneers today are milled from a solid block of ceramic using CAD/CAM technology — fast, predictable, but fundamentally uniform. At Manhattan Dental Design, we do not offer milled veneers.
Every veneer is built up by hand, layer by layer, using feldspathic porcelain — the same material found in natural enamel. This layering technique allows light to penetrate at different wavelengths in all 360 degrees, replicating the exact way natural tooth structure interacts with light. The result is a depth and vitality that no milled veneer can match.

Why layered feldspathic porcelain
Six reasons patients never look back
Unmatched Translucency
Hand-layered feldspathic porcelain allows light to penetrate at different wavelengths in 360 degrees — exactly as natural enamel does. No milled veneer comes close.
Completely Natural Look
The depth and vitality of a hand-layered veneer is indistinguishable from natural tooth structure. People notice your smile — never your veneers.
Minimal Tooth Reduction
Modern ultra-thin feldspathic veneers require minimal preparation, preserving as much of your natural tooth structure as possible.
Long-Lasting Results
With proper care, porcelain veneers last 15–20 years, making them an investment that pays dividends every single day.
Complete Customization
Every layer is built to your exact specifications — shade, shape, length, and texture. No blocks, no presets, no shortcuts.
Stain-Resistant Surface
Feldspathic porcelain is non-porous and highly polishable, resisting staining from coffee, wine, and daily life for a lasting, luminous smile.

Common questions
Everything you want to know
What makes feldspathic porcelain different?
Unlike milled CAD/CAM veneers cut from a solid block, feldspathic veneers are built up by hand layer by layer. This allows light to pass through at different wavelengths in all directions — replicating how natural enamel behaves — for a result that is genuinely lifelike.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With proper care, porcelain veneers typically last 15–20 years. We provide a comprehensive care guide and a complimentary protective nightguard to help maximize their longevity.
Are veneers painful to get?
The procedure is performed under local anesthesia. Most patients report minimal to no discomfort, and any sensitivity following preparation resolves within days.
How many veneers do I need?
This depends on your smile goals. We typically recommend treating the full "smile zone" — 6 to 10 teeth — for the most harmonious, natural result.
Is the process reversible?
Because minimal enamel is removed during preparation, the process is considered permanent. We take this seriously — which is why the consultation and design phase are so thorough.
Does insurance cover veneers?
Porcelain veneers are typically considered cosmetic and are not covered by dental insurance. We offer flexible financing options and can provide detailed cost estimates at your consultation.
